Description
A view of the Miniature Railroad & Village exhibit in the Carnegie Science Center. According to the Carnegie Science Center's website the model town and trains were originally owned by Charles Bowdish, until it was moved to the Buhl Planetarium in Allegheny Center in 1954. It was moved to the newly built Carnegie Science Center in 1992. The Buhl Planetarium and Institute of Popular Science merged with the Carnegie Museums of Pittsburgh to create the Carnegie Science Center, which opened October 5, 1991.
