  • 1936 aerial view facing north of Town of McCandless, Allegheny County, PA. Perry Highway (Route 19) is seen as a wide band running north-south in right half of photo. A section of Old Perry Highway is seen on the eastern side of the new highway with Pine Creek Road connecting the highway to the left edge of photo. Bellcrest Road makes a 90 degree turn in the lower left quadrant. The roadbed of the former Harmony Line electric railway curves through the upper left quadrant.
