In the foreground is the parking lot. The fenced pool area is seen in the center of the photo. An outhouse is seen on the far left and the two story picnic shelter is seen in the rear. The pool is memorable for its cool spring water. The valley was covered in fill from the construction of I-279 that today runs atop the former Franklin Grove.
