  • Opened in 1947 and in operation through the early 1980s, Brookside Drive-In Theater stood on approximately nine acres next to Big Sewickley Creek Road in Franklin Park Borough, Allegheny County, PA. The photo shows the fenced parking area and screen with the road in the foreground. A young boy is shown tossing a baseball in his yard, which was across the road from the theater.
