Description
1910 view of the Harry Richey General Store located on an unimproved West Ingomar Road in the Ingomar section of Town of McCandless, Allegheny County, PA. The clapboard building was located next to the double tracks of the Harmony Line, which extended as far north as New Castle and Butler, PA. Shown next to the tracks are a loading platform and a wooden warning sign to Stop Look Listen. On the opposite side of the building, stands an express livery and boarding stable that was operated by Richey's daughter and son-in-law. Several persons are shown seated and standing in front of the store. The business was soon purchased by Philip Brunn.
