  • View of the 11 Mile House aka Pine Creek Hotel located in the village of Pine Creek in Town of McCandless, Allegheny County, PA. The clapboard building stood on the Perry Highway, which is seen as a dirt road. A woman is seen standing on the covered wraparound porch. Attached to the building are several signs: telephone, dancing, lager, Home baked ham/sandwiches/homemade ice cream, 11 Mile House and Pine Creek Hotel. Dates of construction and demolition unknown, though the building was removed for McKnight Road construction in the early 1950s.
