  • Description
  • In 1946, Richard Maxwell bought the land that was originally the Haymaker farm. The Maxwell's farmed the land, planting corn, oats, and winter wheat. They also kept chickens, lots of dogs, and of course, horses. Even after the farm had ceased operation, the old farmhouse remained in the Maxwell family for many years.
