Description
In 1932, Max Miller, a Pittsburgher in the real estate business bought the 87-acre McGinley farm. His wife Elizabeth Solomon Miller called on her family to help in running the farm: boarding horses, and selling chickens, eggs and milk. Mrs. Miller was able to indulge her love of peacocks, and kept several on the farm, while Harry Solomon took charge of the horses. The farm continued in operation right through most of the 1960s.
