  • Newly completed section of Brandt School Road improvement (1930) in Franklin Township (now Franklin Park Borough), Allegheny County, PA. Looking north from Charles Scott farm (formerly Francis Wills farm) toward Wexford-Run Road on right and Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church on far left on top of hill. Elva Wills Wiskeman house is shown on left side of road with the Schott home on the right. During road building, a concret plant was located on the Scott property, where Foxbriar now stands at the corner of Brandt School Road and Wexford-Run roads. Road laborers boarded with the Scott family during construction.
