  • View facing northwest of Schmith (Smith) Garage showing advertising for "Park Auto Machine Co Marathon Motor Oils and Gasolines." Buildings located on Babcock Boulevard in Shaler Township, Allegheny County, PA during paving project. Photo shows a cobblestone road. Also in view is an automobile in front of garage. The Green property is seen on the hill to the right of the road. The three story house with a wrap around porch is still standing. Additional houses and structures are seen in the distance near the intersection with Greenhill Road. These houses are no longer standing. A sign on a telephone pole reads "Danger: Road under construction, travel at your own risk Ally Co. D.P.W." Mailboxes are also seen along the road.
